What is pid

I'm thinking about renting a staker, is it worth it if I've only done it a few times?

 

Pid is now 50/50, so you have no reason to learn how to use/abuse it. You can't in 07. It was the Personal Identification Number; if yours was lower, you'd hit first. Now PID is random. So if you rent a staker, it'll be 50/50 regardless. Good luck in the arena!

 

Is there like a script or a program that used to help people increase their PIDs? (also not sure how it works; i dont play 07 that much anymore, just curious)

 

It was all based on who logged in when. Every time you logged in, you'd have a certain PID number. The lower you had the better as you'd get pid on most stakes. People use to sell PID by following the person paying them; whoever had higher PID would log out until they had lower PID. Rinse and repeat over and over; over time, you'd have lower and lower PID so the longer you did it, the higher chances you had. They fixed that now though.

And yes, it doesn't exist anymore. So if you stake with a maxed main, you'll have the same odds as anyone.

 

In regards to renting the staker, just be wary of who you rent from. Be sure it's someone trusted, and be sure you know how to prevent the common arena scams.

 

that is incorrect.

Pid was determined by your ip adress. for example : 14.198.16.0

that ip adress is the best you could get during pid days aka as a .0 vpn which costed a nice amount of money per month. if someone else had a .0 and wanted to vs you, then whoever was logged in before would get the pid. Ip adresses were determined by the last two numbers. the second to last number has to be divisible by 8 and the lower the last number, the better hope that's clear.

That being said... there was an update so there is no pid in 07rs anymore! it is all 50/50!

 

Actually, that's how it was at the start of 07. Pre-eoc was determined by when you logged in ^_^.

 

I dont know much but I was watching a youtube channel I forgot which person it was and while skimming thru the comments some guy posted that he buys a vpn or some sort of proxy and he always gets pid and always gets the first and last hit.... not sure how that works but I dunno just thought I would share it

 

That's back at the start of 07scape. IPs have nothing to do with PID now, and it's completely random. Whenever you go max main staking, it'll always be 50/50! ^_^

At the start of 07 if you was a staker you could buy a vpn which allowed to have the best chance of getting pid as it changed your ip but nowadays its 50/50 so you shouldn't be counting on pid as a staker
