    What is Christmas like in your country?
    Most businesses close early on Christmas eve, and are closed on Christmas day. People travel to visit their families, eat a big meal, talk about people you haven't seen in awhile, argue about politics, then go drinking with friends. Our community has a tradition of lighting THOUSANDS of candles all along our streets, so my family always packs into the car to go for a drive to look at the candles and lights.

    Here in sweden we have something called "Mellandagsrea" which translates to "Middle days sale" because all the stores have sales between Christmas and new years,

    It's all about big meals and family time. My family drink a lot together and sometimes sing carols and watch christmas movies.

    What is Christmas like in your country?
    I'm from Australia, so very bloody hot. But in saying that I really enjoy having a warm Christmas. I think it's because I've always grown up with going to the beach around that time and it just feels right I guess.

    Confirming that Australia is very bloody hot during Christmas time! Agree with the beach at Christmas time thing also, that's so good with family. Boxing day is then normally spent watching the cricket in the air conditioning, while others choose to race off to the air conditioned shopping centres to get a bargain in the sales.

    pretty damn standard in the uk haha, traditional dinner etc and some people get aloooot of shit for xmas

    its one of my favourite times of the year tho^^

    What is Christmas like in your country?
    I feel like that last few Christmas periods have been very overcast and not too hot. I love the searing heat and jumping in the pool and stuff on Christmas, I know it's a huge contrast to most other peoples idea of Christmas.
