Selling an Account

I posted a thread a while back about selling an OSRS account of mine, and had eventually said that it had been sold. After waiting weeks now, I'm fairly certain that the person that wanted to buy it wasn't serious, or is just no longer interested as I haven't heard anything from him.

This has left me in a very odd spot though, as now I'd like to actually find a legit buyer, but feel uncomfortable posting an account that I already claimed as sold. What would be the best thing to do in this situation? Just post the account again and explain that it was never sold?

 

You should attempt to include proof that the trade fell through and the account was never sold. If there are no posts of the buyers actually saying he bought it and confirmed it or left a vouch, you should be in the clear to post it. You can always double check with upper staff, as this is only my speculation.

 

I'm not really sure what I'd include as proof of the trade falling through. We talked on Skype a few times, but I unfortunately don't have any chat logs to post. And that's sort of what I thought as well, if he had bought it there'd be a post or vouch by him saying so, but wasn't sure if that'd be enough.

Is there any way to directly contact the staff, or should I just wait for someone to see this post?
