There's always a chance, any link could be a phishing link really. Just be safe and use a completely different password and username for the forums if you do decide to go ahead and create an account. Mightn't hurt to cover all bases and do a virus scan, etc.

Remember though, that if something seems to good to be true it normally is.

Could be a very elaborate lure or something. My two cents, stay away from it. If you have to sit back and question it's legitimacy, it's probably some convoluted scam

 

If you do go on the TS btw, I would highly recommend a VPN so they can't hit you off. Just a side note.

 

If you go to the TS with them having the plan of hitting you off, you can tell when someone is on VPN or not, so they will just boot you before they try anyways. Can't anti spam that in any way.
