I got drunk mate, once over international waters most flight attendants don't care if you are 18. I just made this trip last winter.

The Emulator or the ROM? All of the old Emulators I've ever used appear to be fine. I know a lot of sites have to take the ROM files down due to copyright concerns. It's very easy though to find them around. If you already owned the game in its physical copy, it's hardly illegal as well.

Make sure to get up and walk around every few hours, do some stretching and loosen up in the aisles. You might look dumb but you'll feel a lot better after from just a few minutes of stretching, sitting down for 8 hours straight does no one any good

What's your local arrival time? Ideally you would want to plan around that (i.e. sleep on the plane if you're going to be arriving in the morning or stay up if you're going to be arriving at night). All of the long flights that I've taken have had some sort of in-flight entertainment so I just either watch the movies they have or (!!!) read a book.

There have been plug sockets on every Emirates flight I've been on, every year, to charge your phone/laptop etc. There will be a magazine in the pocket in front of you listing all the movies/TV shows etc they have, but you can literally just pick and choose what to watch, whenever you want to watch it, there'll be a list and you select what you want. Wifi I'm not sure as I never tend to use it on flights, the last one I was on which was only a few days ago had Wifi for $11 2 hours $17 6 hours approx (this was not Emirates), I'm guessing Emirates have a similar system.

Thing is i don't get how we use wifi.. They said turn off phone and switch to Airplane mode. Also i checked current movies they have on the list they already have Maze Runner and Hunger Games so I'm going to enjoy 6hrs or more from those two movies.

Depends when you go; they, along with most airlines, change their entertainment system on the first day of each month (as in, what they show). Mainly just updates to add new movies etc.

You can use phones on airplane mode when they allow you to, on the fight I was on a few days ago there was a mobile phone symbol itself next to where the seatbelt icon is above you that lights up when you can't use your phone and turns off wen you can.

As far as wifi goes, it is not an option on international flights only domestic. Air Canada has charger ports and of all airlines and flights I have been on, has been the only that has them (and this was on their Air Bus).

Emirates is an amazing company and offer 5 star service. The list of movies will be near endless and you definitely won't run out movies/entertainment during your flight. Although, your back will ache and you will feel too rude to recline your chair back.

My honest advice is to ask the person, pre take off, if it will be ok to continually recline your chair throughout the flight - this will allow a more comfortable flight and you won't feel rude each time you do recline your chair. Or maybe that's just me being too polite.

I'm unsure about emirates, but quantas and Air New Zealand both offer free beverages, alcholic included, throughout the whole tenure of the international flight. All you have to do is keep asking - though, the attendants tend to get somewhat annoyed at this.

My sincere advice is to take with you some sleeping pills and knock yourself out the whole flight because you will be bored shitless otherwise.

Try to sleep. Always better than being awake all the time. Flights are tiring.

Reading a good book - or listening to an audiobook. It's amazing how much you can utilize time others would just have spent idle if you use the hours to educate yourself.

As for good movies, Oldboy (original), Requiem for a dream, limitless are all great.

How about watching some tv-series? Surely the best way to kill time.
