Getting a chargeback... Need Help

Recently I made a sale selling 130m for $XXX via paypal. We discussed the trade over skype. Is there any way to defend my case so he doesnt get his money back. I also have pictures of before and after the trade and on our conversation over skype. Any help is gladly appreciated!

Hi Nick, there are a plethora of threads detailing what to do if a circumstance should arise. Have a search through the support section.

I would advise reporting the user here on sythe.org and have him banned. Link the report to the dispute centre which will show that after investigation the user in question has been banned and is infact in the wrong. This goes a long way. I would also advise showing proof of conversation and trade screenshots, showing that you have conducted a trade with the user and have in fact sent him the virtual goods.

Next time, I would advise getting an email from the buyer using his respective PayPal email. And to only take PayPal from relatively trusted users here at Sythe, look for hard currency payment methods such as WU.

 

Hey Nick. Did you ask for any id or confirmation email from the buyer which matches the paypal email, I Know when I had a issue I used that as proof and claimed I sold virtual goods online and when He claimed it was unauthorized the email and id was enough to win the case, Goodluck.

 

There's a thread in our Market Discussion subsection by Fragan77 where he claims to have won a chargeback here. I'll quote what he did exactly, you may wish to try but I wouldn't guarantee anything.

Just don't take Paypal from untrusted members, and you shouldn't lose more money because of chargebacks.

 

Hard to do that when 95% of people buying are newcomers and 90% of those only know how to use PayPal.
