I'm into fashion and I'm sure a bunch of you guys are too, I've been meaning to make this for a while but have kept putting it off so am just gonna jump into it. I'm into a wide array of styles but primarily streetwear

I'll start us off by posting a few pics, you're all encouraged to post pics of fits or items you like or discussing trends etc

I'm sort of a hypebeast myself, but have been trying to steer clear of teenage fashion and transgress to modern casual wear. It will save me tons of money and doesn't make me look like an idiot. For women, it seems like clothing has been more revealing, and for men, it seems like dressing however you want is being more accepted (doesn't mean dressing like a homeless guy won't give you bad looks). Not a fan of baggy pants, that's a no no.

Always a fan of the business casual, both on men and ladies.

Of course if a girl can pull it off, a nice business dress is much more appealing.

I'd say that's somewhat my approach - I'm frugal by nature so have bided my time and made pick ups where I can slowly but surely where there's sales etc to build a below retail closet. There's only a few things I've actually paid full price for (pretty much all boots and a couple of sneakers). I'm not a fan of the whole hypebeast thing, sure use brands to accentuate an outfit but it can't be the outfit ya know?

    ugh. please resize those images.

anyways. used to be a wannabe hypebeast and blow my cash roll on karmaloop, eastbay and other "high end streetwear" stores in my town and other ish like that. i still try and dress nice and appreciate fashion but i don't spend any where near as much as i did... i just buy whatevs if it looks dope and try to rock it

Would like to bring this thread to life again. I'm into street fashion too and my taste are similar to Jack Goff's more than the previous 2 posters. I don't like Kanye's street sense though, it's too "scruffy" if you get what I mean.

I also see a lot of hype beasts nowadays and the craze with sneakers is retarded. I find most are not real sneaker heads but just want to fit in. How are they able to buy all those shoes and give so much care to them? I'm frugal and goal oriented so I find it tough to put towards anything I do not need.

EDIT: I'd like to mention that a couple shoes for different outfits is okay and when I say sneaker heads, I'm talking about those who buy every Jordan out there (which are ugly ass shoes).

Funny thing is I fall in the Street fashion and "fuckboii" category but I've done it since before it was a trend. I'm not big into buying expensive brands because in reality all I'm doing is paying money to promote them. But I hover around True Religion, Rock Revival (have a couple pairs dont wear anymore), Calvin Klein, Timberland, Polo Ralph Lauren, Patagonia, etc. Usually can find me in a pair of trues (basic sticjing for logo's none of that big flashy logos and what not) basic crewneck (sweater, t shirt) I have noticed in recent times though the florescent "loud" colors i use to wear stay in my closet untouched longer. Usually I'll be using ebay to stack my clothes up. You can find new with tag Ralph Lauren shirts for $5 plus shipping if you know how to do it right, along with the trues too, Just make sure you know how to spot a real vs. fake pair! I've stacked up about a $8,000 closet I've payed probably 30% of that cost, which I'm okay with.

As for sneakers I'm an odd ball, Vans low tops, Polo faxon Lows, But mainly I focus on having collaboration works since shoes are the one item I do pay retail for. Never liked to be the same as anyone else, and with the focus of my outfits being more colored and fit based the shoes really do make or break an outfit. My favorite pair being my Pusha T Adidas EQT. Interested in what others have to say, and if anyone has any suggestions for what stores they have most success in!

Added a spoiler to it, can't be bothered re-sizing.

I thought Karmaloop closed down since I heard they were massively in debt, I guess they've either been bought out or managed to get bailed out somehow. I get you about buying whatever and trying to rock it though which I guess is one of the reasons I really like what Kanye does. It's really finding your own personal sense of style and not just copying what everyone else does.

Yeah Kanye isn't for everyone, I respect it. Yeah I'm far from a major sneaker head but everyone I've talked to about sneakers doesn't know shit about them and more-so just wants to fit in. For example I was talking to this dude I know at a party and he was saying he wants to cop camo yeezys but he wasn't aware that there are actually several different shoes designed by Ye and he had to look up 350 boosts lol. At the end of the day I'm with you about the sneaker collections, I respect 'em but it's not something I'd ever get into as I like variety so as to always have something nice to pair with my outfits.

Yeah second hand shopping is the way to go if you have the patience for it. I'm with you in that majority of my clothing is bought on sales or various deals. It would be a costly ward-drobe but only a few pieces were purchased for retail.

Don't really know what to "call the style" I just like to look nice and casual, nothing too extreme. I'm a cheap ass student, I just like to look nice on a budget.

Can you elaborate? The outfit you've shown is pretty basic, a graphic tee and some fitted jeans

What hobbies do you pursue with your free money? Alcohol/Drugs are acceptable answers :p

Quite a narrow scope dude if those pics are all representative considering so many of them are similar

That's the way man. Certainly have to be frugal with it being in uni but I feel it's possible to achieve a happy medium.

Last time I went shopping for clothing, I went in there with a few outfits in mind and this made shopping so much more enjoyable and successful. Before that, I would just buy what I liked but it wouldn't always go well with things I own already. Just an idea for more successful shopping for yall

Yup. It always looks good. Very clean and classy. Don't have to put terribly much into it. Fitted shirts and sweaters with dark jeans. That's my shit.

Yeah I always consider versatility. There's no point getting something if there aren't multiple ways you can wear it where it will truly add to your warddrobe.

It's certainly a fine style but literally only wearing that sounds boring to me lol

Post some pictures of stuff you like man
