So after reading a lot of reviews I was skeptical about Playing CS:GO. Hearing that the CS:GO Community was not very friendly to newcomers. I was on steam the other day that it was only 7 usd on sale so I said what the hell and bought it. Iv currently played about 6 hours. Only half way to the first rank. I see that moves very slowly. The first 4 hours I was just getting REKT like no ones business. I have since then been able to place 2nd and 3rd fairly often and I'm getting a better grasp on the game. Watched some basic CS:GO newcomer guides that really helps. I'm addicted to the game now I think. The community is also fairly friendly I have yet to be kicked once which was a surprise. Anyways any futher tips anyone has would be great. My steam name Is nellawafer2424 if anyone would like to add me or teach me anything in game.

    Edit: Rank 2 corporal now

No one will kick you from deathmatch or arms race games since no one really cares how you perform there since it's individual play and not team based. Same goes for casual competitive although you may be kicked there if you are the last one alive and just looking at the floor somewhere or something like that. As for tips in CS watching newcomers guides is pretty much the way to go until you have ranked up about 2-3 times since that means you are starting to understand more in depth the movement of the game as that is very important. After that I suggest you take a look at some really nice videos on youtube of pop flashes and one way smokes that can really make the difference in a round. Another tip is to watch other people play, whether it's spectating your teammates in a comp match while you are dead or even watching professional matches, there is always more to learn in cs and watching other people play can be a huge help. That's pretty much it for a newcomer since once you have that nailed down you will no longer be new :> other than that just practice practice practice!!! Let me know if this helps you any and sorry if it is cluttered and messy it's early morning by me and I have yet to sleep ^^

Anyway good luck, I look forward to seeing your post about what rank you achieve once you are done with your placement matches!

    Cheers!
