Ban Rate While Botting?

Just from reading a few threads on sythe, I've noticed it seems botting bans have increased drastically since 09-12ish (last time I was heavily active).
Just how high are your chances of being banned while botting now-a-days, though?
Don't want to get myself in any heat.
Last time I played, you could bot pretty damn hard and not get caught.
What's the truth on how it is now?

 

Recently the bot bans have been very high so I would bot with extreme caution.

 

Any inclination of why?
They've obviously always frowned upon botting.. but goodness, people used to bot 24/5 days a week and not have any issues.

Is it safe to auto-click high alch to 94 magic?

 

Assuming the post I'm linking you to is true, it's because Jagex can detect clients now.

depends on what you're botting, but i'd say its very high ban rates

 

From what I have read ban rates are extremely high right now on runescape. Specially if you're goldfarming with plenty accounts. Just make to always use breaks and a good script.

 

How safe are combat stats?

As in good scripts, you mean like paying for scripts?

 

All depends on which stats, where you train, what scripts, etc. Experienced botters can certainly do it without getting caught, or only getting caught every once and awhile. For a beginner, almost 100%. As you get more experienced and try new methods the rate slowly lowers.

Yeah. The best is to buy a script from a private scripter so that you're the only one using that script. Your next best option is to use a good one from Tribot, OSBot, etc.

 

So what about auto-clicking high alch for 94 magic?

 

Depends on the autoclicker I guess. If you can use one with a decent anti-ban and doesn't have the exact same time in between clicks it would probably help. It's a lot of alchs to get through though, but maybe if you use a good script, take a lot of breaks and babysit the bot you won't have any issues getting there.

got banned on 2 accounts almost instantly the next day for botting agility. dont do that and i think you'll be fine.

Pretty high atm. They started detecting clients, so you would have to wait until the creators fix their clients. Or find a way around this.

When osrs came out i had a friend who got 7 99's 6 month into osrs. 100% botted.

But still nowadays you see loads of accounts that has been botted heavily.

 

Its come to a point where you cant even wing, and risk it anymore. the inevitable will happen, and rather fast.


The scripts work fine, but they are ALL detectable which over laps any credibility that a developer has to offer. As I said earlier, I wouldn't even attempt botting, even if it is a mule account.



The only safe alternative iv'e found is having your accounts manually power leveled. it's costly, but in the long haul it's well worth the price to keep your account safe.

 

That is incredibly disappointing. Dammit that makes me mad.
Well, mental note made, any future training is going to be paid for to be hand done or done by myself.
How do you feel about using a very basic auto clicker to high-alch for an hour or two a day/ every couple of days?

 

I have a client that used a script to alch. He did it from 55-93, running it a few hours every day. It was on a clean account that had been made members, he didn't get banned, and said he didn't often.
