    Runescape Powerlevel Service

    Hello I have a question since i'm kind of new.

    I bought a runescape service from this person. I paid him 35M for service, 10M in supply money and I paid for membership for 80 ATK,STR,DEF,Range. He agreed he would train my brand new lv 3 account.

    However the account got perma-banned on the second day of him powerlevelling for botting. He barely started and only managed to get lv 30 strength the last time i checked.

    He has offered me 50% of service fee back(17.5M) or i supply another account with membership and 10M supply fees again for him to do it again.

    I really just want a refund since i don't want to risk any ban. Do you think his offer is fair or am i entitled to a full refund i.e. 35m?

    The seller wrote this on his term of service.

    1. I will refund you 50% of the total cost of the order or I can make an account for you that was a similar build to your account if there is a ban while I am completing your order. However, this is highly unlikely.

    Is he allowed to do this and does this change anything?

    Sythe rules trump a business's TOS in cases like these. If the seller was unable to complete the service because he got the account banned, he will either need to refund you in full or complete the service on another account that you provide. Seeing as you reasonably don't want the latter, he will have to refund the amount that you paid for the service (not sure if the money for supplies also falls under this).

    Here's my issue with him getting a full refund. The person providing the service did put effort in to it, and as long as both parties knew it was going to be botted, both parties knew the risks.

    Basically, the person botting it put effort in to the account (however slight) and the buyer agreed to the terms. If they didn't agree to bot it but did anyway, I can understand perhaps even charging an extra fine, but that didn't happen.

    Botting =/= effort

    If the ban is permanent, it's a full refund. If the ban isn't permanent, and the buyer knew he was botting, a slight fee will be given for the work that is done.

    Best mid aus, if you haven't received a refund, make a report.
