Renting out Sig Space

So I was looking to rent my sig space, and ran across somebody saying that it isn't allowed anymore and posting a broken link, yet a lot of people still advertise peoples banners? Is there any reason for this, or did the no-renting sig rule end?

There was some rule stating that you couldn't post a thread offering signature space to remove clutter. You we're still allowed to rent it out.

I'm not sure where the rule went, but I'd stick with that or PM a mod and ask.

 

You're allowed to advertise for people, but not allowed to sell your signature space publicly I believe.

In other words, people can make threads BUYING people's signature space, but you can't SELL yours. Weird, I know.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

 

We're currently in the works of allowing both buying and selling rental threads to be created, but in a different forum. We'll notify you guys of the change when it's complete.

As of now, you aren't allowed to create selling rental threads, only buying.
