This looks awesome! We really should do something like this on Sythe.

 

I can only see this working on sythe by placing limitations on who can participate, else a lot of people not bothering to buy a gift and "yeah i shipped it but didn't get tracking soz, must've gotten lost in the mail" will be happening

 

If somone doesn't receive a gift after a certain period of time they can report it and get rematched by a person who has said they are more than happy to buy gifts for more than one person

I too suggested it just recently and I think it was shut down. I'm going to bring this up with the CDT and see if we can come up with something, will keep you guys informed if you're interested.

I think its too late to join up for the reddit secret santa it says the sign ups ended on the 23rd.

I'd love to do another one on Sythe so keep me updated on what they say!

 

Shipping to and from Kosovo costs a ton which is why I don't participate in the Reddit one.

 

Which is nice but it still leaves a scammer with a gift while not having to buy one

I'm just saying to reduce the risk of this happening limitations could be placed on who's allowed to participte, e.g. member for more than x months, >x posts, >x donor rank, etc.
