im really pissed off

I was looking at which game got higher rating on gamespot and ign between league of legends
and
Dota 2
lol got 9/10
so did dota 2 9/10
I was ok with that but then I went to see the bads of the game it says for league pro players creating new accs ruins games for others
then I checked dota 2 one and it says it will take over your life are you fucking serious LMAO
the games meant to be rated 10/10 for dota 2 as theres no bad components to it
then:
I checked ign
League : 9.2/10
Dota 2: 9.4 / 10
dota - better
but then I came to check my faviroute game black ops 3
Gamespot: 7/10 - same old cod...
ign: 9.4 / 10 - best call of duty up 2 date....
I'm not sure which site to follow for reviews anymore can someone help out lol

 

To be honest, I don't believe reviews on those sites anymore. I used to love hopping on there expecting an honest review, but that just doesn't happen anymore.

Your best bet is to wait a week or two when a game comes out, and really watch people stream, and watch let's play / gameplay videos. Most times these companies leave biased reviews, especially for large franchises like CoD.

 

As stated above, the best option for you would be to look at YouTube videos and/or live-streams and determine the rating of the game for yourself. The reason being is because a non-biased review from yourself on a game can conclude as to whether you wish to purchase a specific game or not.

Ive never played Dota but i hear its a lot like league just slower. I dont find smurfs to be a issue at all. I enjoy playing higher skilled players. I find trolls and autistic fucks the issue. As for cod i havent kept up with it since BO1. I bought BO2 on the release date but disliked it from the get go. I really wanted to try B03 but i watched some streams and didnt like what i seen.

 

I've played LoL for a few years, and I only played Dota for a short time but I definitely think that League is much better.

I hate IGN's reviews on any game. Most of the time they're just paid to put a digit there or speak a few words about a game. The developers literally pay them to say the shit and it pisses me off.

If it's a triple A game I'm looking for a review of, I'll usually just stick to watching Angry Joe's reviews as most of the time they're fair and honest reviews. Though I don't agree with some things he has to say but it's better than IGN and the rest.

 

All of those sites are ass backwards to be honest; best way to review a game is simply to watch some gameplay and decide for yourself.
