what do you like/disklike about csgo?

been playing csgo for a few weeks now, and i found things that i like and things that i do dislike!
things i like: arms race, i really love this gamemode, rarely play anything but it
skins, some dislike the skins but i like them i love how you can change the look of your weapons!


dislikes: people yelling when they die/lose the game, i got them in nearly everygame, they scream (usually in a foreign language), i know its easy to mute them but i find it anoying that you have to do so to get them to stop;(
bots? as in wallhacks,aimbots etc.
now i dont meet those that often but when i do its anoying especially when someone uses aimbot.

so what is yours?

 

Just wait till you start playing competitive, also the odds of you actually meeting a hacker in an arms race match are so close to 0 might as well be 0. You are probably just playing against really skilled players around the Supreme - Global rank leveling up there smurf accounts so they can play competitive. Hackusations from silvers is common but you will see once you are DMG - LE what true hackers are like.

What I like about the game is the competitive style and how team based it is. Once you reach a higher level (Mg2 - MGE) it becomes absolutely essential to have a full team for each game. This is mostly due to communication being a huge part and the cancer that is soloQ.

I don't like that they nerfed the awp and the M4A1-S that was really annoying. I also remember back in the silver - gold nova days of 2014 when I used to SoloQ and the Russians were literally everywhere shouting the stupidest shit and basically ruining the game.

 

I dont like the fact that they nerfed the M4A1-S it was my favourite rifle now its the m4a4.

 

ahh might have been smurfs i encountered then, and well only done one ranked match, but i personally prefer chilling in arms race, and only recently started csgo and i had no idea such weps had been nerfed o.o
do like the awp still though

 

Lol you're a new player. It's fine. You should play more competitive though you will really like it once you get a rank.

 

hmhm true i should, but that one game i did play, some dude kept yelling in german and another was afk in spawn-.- we got utterly raped

Don't SoloQ, you can queue up with other Sythers who are new to the game or have smurf accounts. Playing with randoms is absolute aids.

 

ah, yea well i could ask around but atm i kinda wanna get level 10 before i start playing ranked, + i think i could ask some of the lads on my fl on steam if they would want to

 

Level 10? Lol are you serious? That's going to take you about 120 hours if you don't play competitive. The game was made for competitive, deathmatch and other gamemodes are to warm up and now that they added this gay level thing to level up to 3. You get like 20 xp per game without the weekly bonus. If you win a comp match you get like 350 xp. Plus no one cares about your level, they care about your rank.

really like the competition and will to win! i dislike the russians cuz i cant understand em which is bad for the communication but except for that, the game is great! always wanna win to get higher ranks

 

They may have nerfed the AWP and the M4A1-S but I still use them frequently if not constantly (probably my 2 favorite rifles aside from the AK and AUG) and they honestly still wreck people. The AWP is a 1-shot kill 90% of the time, regardless of where you hit. I have noticed lately that I'll flick/no-scope someone and hit them like... in the shoulder or something and only hit for about 87... which is weird... but I still think it's destructive. Also the M4A1-S was definitely nerfed but as far as accuracy at long range goes... it's almost comparable to a sniper. If you tap shoot (not burst) it is PIN-POINT accurate. Easy headshots, easy life.

You're certainly right about the team based play though, that's not even arguable, but I still find people in the MG-LE ranks that play like it's CoD. Last night I was queued with 3 other people and the random we got had no mic and never called out or listened to strats, but he dropped a 30 bomb and started bitching about how bad we were. Nothing comes before teamwork, not even kills, because this is an objective-based game. I wish some people would figure this out before queuing in comp.

 

Haha damn straight man. I think another frustrating thing for me is to have a teammate who uses only 1 weapon. Like a UMP or Bizon. Do you ever encounter those types?

Yeah. I had a random the other day that would lurk in the most ridiculous spots with the AWP all round until he was last alive, and then slow walk around the map trying to get picks. The entire game. He was a fucking MGE. How he ever got to that rank in the first place, I'll never know.

 

The only negative thing are hackers however I like to think I've never been matched with one (never accused anyone either).

Positives are the competitiveness of the game, a part of the community is really awesome to play with, you can play as 5 premade however I only play solo as I think that playing as premade is freelo and your rank is not deserved. Game is cheap, gameplay is awesome.

Edit: one more negative is the Russian community. Fuck those guys.
