Havent played WoW in a long time -- a few questions

I haven't played in a few years. It has been so long that I forget what expansions I have. I just figured out my login details. Is there anywhere I can check which expansions I already have before I purchase one I already have?

Any advice/tips for someone who hasn't played seriously since wrath of the lich king? I have a level 80 warrior, druid and warlock for sure. I really want to use my warlock. I see a bunch of stuff like "boost to 100" on the site what the heck is that about?

Someone tell me whats been happening since wrath of the lich king please :D

    https://us.battle.net/account/management/

after logging in you should see something like "World of Warcraft®: Legion"

for you since it's been quite sometimes, it might show as "World of warcraft: Wrath of the lich king" or "World of warcraft: Cataclysm"

this should tell you which expansion you have :)

the current expansion is Warlord Of Draenor (WoD) and Legion is coming out in summer 2016 but you can pre-order it right now to get a free lvl 100 token.

if you buy warlord of draenor at the moment, you will receive a lvl 90 token and if you pre-order legion, you will also get a lvl 100 token.

basicly what these do is allow you to instantly level an already existing character or a new character to lvl 90 / 100 instantly.

in the case of lvl 90, your character will be lvl 90 and at the beginning of the lvling of 90-100 on it you will follow some sort of "guide" that teaches you the basics of the class/ spec you chose. this should last until lvl 91, then you will have access to all the abilities and such.

if you have any other question feel free to pm me :)

edit: since wrath, i don't think anything has really changed that much except that instead of having "talent trees" (3 specs for each class) , you have access to 6 talents, 1 on each of these lvl tiers: lvl 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90

other than that, i don't think much has changed other than the fact that the "world" is bigger (2 expansions after Wrath of the lich king). I'm not entirely sure about everything yet as I just came back to WoW last week

Thank you. I checked and it said Mist of Pandora so I guess thats the last one I got. Its been awhile since I downloaded. I assume there is a place on the site I can download it so I don't have to use the discs?

Download the battle.net client. When you log on, all of your available Blizzard games can be downloaded / launched through there.

I would suggest playing a bit before legion comes out, just to explore 90-100 at the very least. WoD leveling was some of the most fun I've had leveling / exploring since I first bought the game. My longtime guild isn't really around anymore and I didn't have interest in starting a new one / joining another so my passion had fizzled out after a few months at 100.

Ugh I haven't been able to play in 2 days. Every time I go into the game from my character selection screen, it freezes on loading (the blue bar always stops half way through the loading and my game freezes). Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've tried deleting my WTF, Interface, Cache folders with no success :( This only happens on some of my characters. I can log into my warlock that is in orgrimar.

Probably in instanced areas, Go on live chat and ask a GM to move you to your hearth or a main city. Happens a lot in garrison and other places as such.

You could ask them to move you then queue for a dungeon, It should remove the tutorial you go through after boosting to 90 if I remember correctly and you should be able to then return. Might want to just talk to a GM first see if they can help you.

So much easier to level these days now that it is so easy to find dungeon groups. I just levelled 28-36 in 2 hours. Screw questing.

It's so much easier to level through dungeons up until I'd say the 70's, then I recommend questing inbetween queues. If you're a tank / healer and can get instant queues I'd say possibly just stick to dungeons.

Seriously this. Heirlooms make powerleveling a complete breeze. Plus if you RAF with full BoA gear... 1-80 can easily be done in a day.
