Curious to know, who are your favorite EDM DJ's/Producers?

Excuse my retardation, but are DJs/producers the same as an artist lol?

If so, r3hab and zedd are pretty good ^-^

 

I think artist would be a more general term, and could refer to rappers/pop singers etc.

I was making it more specific to EDM, hence DJ's/Producers

I hope you don't mind but I've edited your title slightly to avoid further confusion. I was originally coming in here to talk about boi-1da and Noah "40" Shebib as two of my favorite producers but alas, doesn't fit. I've been so out for the EDM scene for a while now although I like stuff from all of the ones mentioned currently. I wish DVBBS had a bit more variation in their content though.

 

No problem. Yeah a lot of Big Room house DJ's are very monotonic in their drops, you'll actually notice a pattern in their songs if you were to listen to it closely. Despite that, I think the DVBBS duo are amazing, more so if you ever get to see them live. Sure their originals are very limited to a certain type of drop, but the beauty of EDM and festivals in general is that DJ's could use each others songs & make for a wonderful experience, especially if you're rolling.

I remember being introduced to 3lau and loving them, but quickly becoming indifferent. A channel I found recently that has like "top 10s" and such on a wide range of electronic music: edm, trap, house, etc.

Seen him live, he's good but honestly, overrated :s

 

Agreed. I mean spaceman, cobra, etc., are all good songs, but I don't think he is one of the best out there. He's definitely towards the top I'd say though. Kind of like an acceptable filler between good songs.
