Is Deadman Any Good?

I was just wondering if its any good. I hear a lot of people are playing it now and I might give it a try, just wanted more advice / notice. Thanks

how so?

 

You lose experience when you die, you lose a major part of your bank when you die (depends what items you choose to keep).

 

So dumb lool

DMM was pretty enjoyable for the first week or two that it was out because a lot of people didn't know what they were doing and everyone's stats were still somewhat low so even a casual or someone who started a bit late could have a lot of fun. Now, I think it's at the point where the gap between a serious player and a casual one is extremely big, and it's only going to keep getting bigger from here (because the former is going to be continually killing the other and setting them back even further). I think there's something like 200 people who have barrage already, which is pretty crazy considering how few DMM worlds there are, so the odds of running into one of these guys is pretty high.

Big clans are also starting to take over, it's hard to find decent targets to kill (without being teamed/tagged off), and not to mention suiciding which is also another annoying mechanic for new players. I'd probably recommend against starting DMM this late UNLESS you have a really dedicated group of friends you'd be playing with.

 

Although I agree with it being hard to start up now, I don't advise against trying DMM. You can stay safe in multiple areas and you should only be training the stats you save until you're able to get to a safe zone. I really believe they should make all of Lumbridge (excluding draynor) a Safe-zone for people to get started.
