Anyone else curious as to how two of the suicide bombers were found with intact passports on them? How the hell do you literally blow yourself (AND OTHERS) up and leave an intact passport not only once but TWO times??

I'd like to see your source. Where does it say in the Quran to massacre innocent people? Yes it says non believers will be punished, and they will be punished by God (in after-life) but it doesn't say anywhere to go and kill all non believers.

Well at this point its seems undeniable that the attack was at the very least in part carried out by Syrian "refugees" (refugees in quotes because these weren't true refugees, but snakes in the grass sneaking in) but given the fact that the passports (ones Egyptian oddly enough) were found before anyone took credit implies to me they were going to be blamed and or potentially framed as a scapegoat from the get go.

I don't believe anyone who is about to carry out terrorist attacks especially orchestrated to that level would make it easy on those investigating by carrying ID. I mean we would leave our ID's at home when we'd try and buy beer underage or sneak into clubs years ago, surely internationally organized terror cells have the same notion.

It's really quite sad, but if you think about it, not all that surprising. When you have a known terrorist organisation who wants to blow stuff up, and loose checks on migrants fleeing wherever, it doesn't take a genius to work out that someone will probably pretend to be a migrant to enter x country and blow stuff up. If Europe continues with its large intake of migrants without strengthening its checks, politics and morality aside, the consequence will be that what happened in Paris will happen again in the EU for the very same reasons.

I wonder when we can have a proper conversation without regard for the absurd political correctness in our modern society. For fear of being labeled racist, for fear of being 'discriminatory', and for fear of being labelled ignorant, the discourse is crowded with intellectual buffoons aimed at allaying offence as opposed to ensuring the continuation of our way of life. This is the natural consequence, when you have idiots pick up a few tools in philosophy and politics, saying that the migrants have rights, and it is racist to deny them entry, and emotional appeals, etc etc. , and etc etc. These are all good arguments to make however they have their consequences, and you have to own the consequences flowing from the application of your beliefs. No one wants to own them, just react to them; too late then.

 

The shooters were Paris natives.

 

As far as I'm aware, only one was confirmed a French national, with the identities of the rest unconfirmed thus far.

 

One native, three Belgians. That's just the shooters too, there's what 6-7 more known people involved? CNN states outright "at least one arrived with the Syrian immigrants".

As horrendous as the attacks are, unless these french bombings were preplanned I'm not sure emotion-induced retaliation is the best way to go about solving the issue at hand.

What main stream religion teaches tolerance of all individuals regardless or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation ect? I'm by no means saying all religion is evil.

Christianity? It's hard to look to biblical teachings like "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31) and conclude otherwise. Sure, Christianity requires some "intolerance" to actually define what sin is; Christians are forbidden from "tolerating" sin by conforming to it, but I don't see how this is intolerance to any meaningful degree. Christianity does not advocate any kind of action against sinners (the Bible commands Christians to not "stand in the way of sinners" Psalm 1:1). How can you not view non-violent co-existence as tolerance? It seems that tolerance is expected to extend to everything except religious teachings - it's somehow okay to be intolerant of something like Biblical Christianity.

Also, how can you say that religion is "doctrine of hate" but at the same time not see it as an evil? I'm just confused by how your first post was worded so matter-of-factly.

One verse about accepting thy neighbor doesn't make up for the slander of homosexuality. Christianity does do a great job with racism for the most part though. I'm not saying it's all bad man just religion isn't the be end of everything and if you look at religion and it's effect on lives around this world from a truly distant perspective it's truly shocking.
