Why do people love b0aty's stream so much? Ive watched it a few times and the amount people donate to the kid is straight up retarded. Doesnt the majority of Runescape realize he was a scamming cunt years ago? Before he got famous streaming he used to impersonate a Dragondyce host Almostfamous
This is a sickening trend ive noticed with several high profile Hosts and website owners. Why do people gravitate to Smite yo Router,(Runebet owner) Izinc, (BBB owner) Joopi and, Lucky D (Staker of 54 host) All of these kids are associated with either hitting people offline during stakes, scamming other hosts or just overall shady shit. Sickens me that the sheep of runescape dump daddy's credit card balance into their wallets.

 

Regardless of his past. He produces good enjoyable content to masses of people.

The impersonation of a Dragon Dice host was never really confirmed, even if so it was a long time ago and he's been a great influence on the 07 community and Runescape in general. I agree with the rest of the people named though especially since Smite scammed me for 5b personally.

 

The dude knows how to entertain an audience, therefore he gets followers. Simple as that man.

People don't really give a fuck about his past. Sparc Mac RWT'd and scammed before, people still watch his shit cause he's interesting. Wildy owns1/returnofwild has scammed on multiple occasions, and people still watch his shit.

He made a video claiming it was all a misunderstanding but several hosts confirmed that exact rsn was impersonating AlmostFamous. He was the current owner of the rsn during the time span... How is he a great influence by the way? I dont see how him streaming playing runescape has done anything for the community. Has he donated money to charities? How is his stream expanding runescape's community? People who watch runescape streams already play runescape. Im sorry you were scammed by andre he's a dbag.

 

He runs a month long charity livestream every august I believe and raised over 60000 pounds this year and 50000 pounds last year for children's cancer charity (I forget the actual charity name) and I'd argue that people that have an interest in runesCape but don't actively play feel nostalgia watchING someone else enjoy the game so much and would maybe return themselves. (Sorry for the weird capitalization new phone hasn't realized how to not be retarded yet,

 

I personally don't care about his past. His content is enjoyable, and that's all that should matter when it comes to livestreaming.

What about all the multi-national corporations we (you) all continue to purchase from/continue being their customers. They do far worse in terms of human right violations, tax evasion etc...the list goes on. We acknowledge all that yet continue in our stride.

Point being, people don't really care about other peoples actions/past unless it directly effects themselves, their friends, family etc, and or they have the monetary capability to affect change, i.e, for example a celebrity/wealthy person/political figure, etc.

You didn't respond to me Hattez. He did do his donation stream which did make a lot of money for a good cause. I can definitely see your frustration with people throwing their money at people they watch play video games but I do think Boaty is better than the average Runescape streamer in content and morals. I'm not personally attacking you by any means just my opinion.
