Presidential Elections

If the primaries were tomorrow, who would you be voting for? Personally I am voting for Rand Paul, if hes not the nominee I am voting for the Libertarian candidate.

 

I know literally nothing about politics. I just respect Bernie Sanders approach of not accepting money from corporations / interest groups.

 

At this rate (6 voters), Donald Trump is going to win. Lol.

 

I'd prefer a philosophically consistent libertarian candidate, I don't see one to be found.

Rand Paul doesn't excite me much. He isn't a revolutionary, he isn't an ideologue, he just isn't very interesting imo. Although I suppose I'd prefer him to the others.

Bernie would be my dead last choice, someone needs to throw an economics book at his head.

Austin Petersen is running for the Libertarian party. Hes barely going to make 35 to be eligible and appeals to the millennials. He's a little AnCap and unelectable compared to Gary Johnson but I really like Petersen. Johnson is expected to announce soon, and ill have no problem voting for him again if he is the LP nominee. He has a proven tract record in New Mexico and would make a great President. He is self pro-claimed Socially Liberal and Fiscally Conservative, which I like. And he's the CEO at Cannabis Sativa, a medical marijuana company.

I'm actually a full blown AnCap myself, so that isn't a negative for me. That being said I'm not really a fan of Austin Peterson, he isn't a principled libertarian. I'd much prefer Gary Johnson.

 

Amazingly I agree on most of Sander's policies other than some of his crazy economic policies. I also really like that he is a bro that does what he says he will do and he has the record to back it up. Also the Republicans are all crazies and not a single one supports same sex marriage so like I'm not voting for them ever.

 

Actually Rand Paul says the government shouldn't be in marriage and recently said you shouldn't get fired for being gay.

I support same sex marriage, this was a big issue for me.

 

I'm not in the US but Donald Trump seems to be the only guy who is speaking any sense.





It's a shitty election regardless as they're no good candidates from what I can see.

I don't understand how all of you can be so ignorant to vote for Donald trump.

 

Donald Trump is straight forward compared to other politicians. He has shown he is worthy of the spot by how he is able to control such large companies and still be successful.

He has my vote.

 

Support for Trump at an all-time high according to some polls atm, not sure if this is a good trend or a worrying trend for America..
