I don't see any connection with the new rule & your theories...

I strongly believe the new rule will keep scammers away whoever it is & I don't see anything wrong with that

 

With all the msn phishing and shit thats going on, its hard to tell truth from well not truth. Just as long as everyone gets a PM then we should be okay...

I believe sythe should release there own personal chat system kinda like on myspace where you just click it and it comes up with the actual person. That would eliminate all scammers But hey I'm just dreaming

 

we kinda have the irc for that but i doubt u can do deals over it

The idea behind this is simple... If a Mod/MM can PM you on sythe then it is a LOT more likely to be them. Thus a PM makes it easier to tell scammers apart from the real person.

 

Actually, there ARE way to see if somethign was edited. You would just need the actual orginal .PSD

 

The problem is that now a ton of people start posting some fake pics of staff scamming them.. I dont think this is either a bad or a good idea.. :S

Well, when the whole Annex thing happend, I told him to make it a rule that you have to PM the person.

So if you're thinking they thought it up to phish out people, no, he got it from my idea.

 

Yes, we'll always be supplied with the original .PSD when someone fakes an image.
