Chargeback

I sold an account to a member which paid with PayPal, but now he has been banned.
I don't know if he has done that intentionally or not but I'm kinda scared he'll chargeback.

He paid straight with his debit card, so if he chargebacks he pretty much wins 100% guaranteed or can I provide proof that he still has the account and he's trying to get his money back and keep the account?

 

It's tricky. My best advice for the future is only accepting gp, as that avoids this whole situation. But should be chargeback, of course provide all the information you can showing that he has indeed received his portion. I've heard, however, that credit card companies deal with chargebacks different, and tend to be more in the favor of that who sent the payment, then that who received the payment.

Should he chargeback, simply report him on Sythe and get the go ahead from a mod to recover your account.

 

I forgot something, he did NOT get banned from RS but yes from SYTHE.

Calling paypal almost always helps. Although for virtual goods, you never know.
