What are your thoughts on the pope?

He's not so much of a puppet as a figurehead. That being said, with the figurehead of such a large group having his progressive views, I have a pretty positive opinion of him. Not really that religious but from what pops up in the news from time to time I think he's taking a step in the right direction for how people in today's era should approach religion.

 

I'm not religious. I see people poking fun at the fact that god is meant to protect him, but he gets placed inside a bulletproof case.

 

This pope is pretty dope

 

All he has done is improve situations such as those mentioned above. Whats there to hate about that? Rock album has nothing to do with anything either, it is just music. And while I do believe sometimes the church takes advantage f certain situations, financially, it does not mean he is a bad person.

 

This pope likes pushing the socialist agenda. In addition to promising you a wonderful afterlife, he is also promising you a wonderful life IN THE FUTURE if you do x,y and c. But the problem is that if we did as he wishes then everyone would be equally poor = socialism.

to be honest (and ignorant) i don't even understand why we have a pope. to be honest i'm not sure what he even does, if he writes some new laws or whatever that he heard from god i could understand that.

otherwise why respect the pope more than you respect everyone else, u luv god. pope is not ur god. unless he jesus in human form he not special.
