    Should i start playing

I started playing CSGO 3 months ago after a friend recommended it to me. I'm currently Legendary Eagle Master and can tell you that it's a lot of fun and that I have no regrets after purchasing it. I've never played an FPS before, prior to CSGO I played League of Legends. CSGO is very hard to play as a beginner, as you move higher up within the ranks you'll find that there are many players who have been playing for 5+ years. The learning curves are steep and can discourage you from continuing to play but once you get good and start making plays you'll start enjoying the game immensely.

It honestly depends on you, try watching videos on Youtube and see for yourself if the game is worth playing although not everyone likes it and you can't control people to like it but honestly I can say that you should probably start playing it and check it out if it's fun to play, it's only 15$ and it's not a very big money.

Taking any game too seriously will ruin it for you. Developers make mistakes and there will always be people who hack and try to ruin the fun for others but if you let it ruin your experience that's basically letting them win. Take a step back and remember that it's just a video game and even playing competitive just boils down to having fun with the game.

I recently reached Global at 243 wins. I got placed in Silver 2. From my experience of this game, it is very different to other shooters out there. There seems to be a lot more too this game in comparison to games such as Call of Duty. To put it simple, make sure your muscle memory is great. Make sure you know your right sensitivity that is right for you. You can use workshop maps to help with these too. And learn the maps, and also their call outs. Learn how to control recoil, and shoot in 2-3 bullet bursts, and always remember that a one tap headshot is faster than a spray down. Always work on your headshots, not everything is aim, it is also movement and map knowledge. Get decent at all of that, and you will become very good at the game.

the leveling part is completely irrelevant to what the game really is about, but basically everytime you level up you get a free item, yay. missions are just different gamemodes/maps.

if this is your first fps as you made it sound like you should try something free first like tf2 (even though the gameplay of tf2 is much different than csgo)

I never got into CS-Go myself to an extent i'd play it even once a week. However, I do play it once a month or so. It's fun.
