What is the best way to gold farm nowadays?

Oldschool (literally) botter here, back from the days of the tainted ones and sythe (still running I see!), seeing this site brings back memories.

I've been out of the game for a while, truth be told I never actually did any gold farming, just botting every character I used to play the game - those were the days.

I am now interested in starting a gold farm. I do not mind investing first to get it up and started. I have done a lot of research already, and a lot of results come back "find a good paid script and use that", but I have looked on tribot/topbot/osbot and I haven't found anything that is a. low requirements b. high money making.

I was thinking about doing many many free to play accounts, around 20-30, hopefully making 40-50k an hour. If ran for 12 hours a day, hopefully for a week or so, then I might start to look in to other options.

Can anyone help me get started? Anyone know any rough hourlies for scripts at the moment?

Sorry for the largely begging post. I'm just keen to get back in to this. I am willing to invest some money, so shoot me with what you got!

The problem with 20/30 f2p accounts is that when you buy 20/30 proxies it's too expensive, but when you don't the chance of getting chain-banned are really big! GL

 

I have moved on from thinking about F2P.. Do you recommend proxies over individual VPS? VPS's you can get per hour, and don't run on your own system.

Edit: Also what do you think about combination botting? For things that are medium-requirement (not just skilling one skill). By combination botting I mean using one account for two different medium requirement bot methods - to reduce looking like a bot (doing a variety of things on runescape not just one)

 

Best way is to really invest into it. Buy a good script from a scripter, and ensure you're the only one using it. Do your research: is what you're botting heavily saturated? are the banrates high for what you're botting? How much will you profit? How often are you able to check on the bots? Etc.

As for the VPS/proxies, I highly recommend getting a medium sized VPS to start, and getting 2 proxies to start experimenting methods. Once you find one, fill up that VPS and see how they do. From there you can upgrade to a large VPS, or get another VPS, whatever is cheapest, yet works efficiently.

The owner is active on Sythe, and knows a ton about RuneScape. Plus he knows his stuff when it comes to VPS's, so he is a good resource to help you out if you run into any troubles.

 

It works out pretty cheap to get individual VPS's, one for each bot, if you get small VPS's.
