Rant About Account Sellers.

Before I get started I'd like to say this rant is directed towards Runescape Account sellers in particular. If a mod finds this unappropriate feel free to remove it, I just felt that speaking my mind on the issue couldn't hurt.

To all users who just signed up in august 2015 and are trying to sell maxed accounts with some bullshit excuse on how you quit the game but yet it still got membs and are accepting RSGP, go fuck yourselves no one deserves to be scammed by some lowlife. Yes I know there may be some legit people out there but for the most part there's a shit ton of scammers and its a disappointment. I just hope that you can see how pathetic you are and reflect back when your balls drop on how stupid you once were. If I offended you in anyway you're probably one of the fucking scrubs I was referring to.

I feel like your reaction to sellers is the same reason why I haven't gotten any good offers on my account yet.

 

You don't have to buy their accounts lol. Same thing as if you see a guy who signed up the same day and is buying bulk gold and party hats for paypal.. You just don't touch it.

 

The large majority of maxed accounts being sold are a result of being cleaned at the duel arena. Although your rant is accurate in it's assessment, it doesn't fix anything. The cycle won't end anytime soon, so all you can do is avoid them.

 

It's quite easy to go over their thread and go to the next one if you don't want to buy it. No reason to rant about it, happens every day.

 

That isn't my issue, my issue is the intent to scam or pullback the account a few days later, that just doesn't sit well with me.

 

You just have to hope that nobody buys their account the first week so they give up and instead hit up their parents credit card

 

This issue has been ongoing since Sythe began. The ability for original owners, and even secondary owners to recover accounts makes account trading incredibly insecure for the buyer. Unless Jagex changes the recovery process in a way that makes it harder to recover accounts, this will never change.

 

This isn't always true. A lot of people accept RSGP because it's safe, and then sell it after.

I sold dozens of very high stat/maxed accounts and only accepted RSGP, and then sold the gold. It's one of the only payment methods that can't be charged back in some form, and certainly one of the safest to deal with.

 

People that recover accounts are the lowest lowlifes.

 

So if a user has played the game for 10+ years and now decides they want to sell their account, so they research places to sell it, and land here to sell their account? They're automatically scamming because they're new?

Using this logic will get you scammed more in the long-run. I've personally bought two accounts off users who at the time were top of the leader boards for account selling, then when they were banned.. Recovered every account they sold. Resulting in a big loss to myself.

Your best policy is to not buy an account, the risk is far too great regardless of who the seller is.

Pay to have your account trained up, it will cost more.. However, at least you're almost guaranteed to get what you're paying for.

Just to name a few accounts ive purchased over the years. Every single one of the these accounts were recovered by what seemed like decent people. I can link even more but honestly this should prove my point. Most of these accounts i resold and had to repay massive amounts back to the scammed users. A lot of these were pre eoc when gp was extremely valuable and the beginning of 07 when gold was extremely valuable. Ive met some decent members but ive also met some fucking true scumbags s/o ari i know your bitch ass is vading reading this.

Id advice paying for leveling or questing. It sucks and takes forever i know but... this is your alternative

This account was recovered with 2bil in my staking days. He also messaged many of my friendslist and scammed them as well.

This same shit happens with account renters.

 

I do laugh when they say quit playing and then recover an account within a few days.
