Runescape 3 - Hotkeys

Hey guys, I'm watching some dude doing thieving on OSRS (blackjacketing, i think it's called) With hotkeys.
My question is if anyone have tried this on rs3 and if it works well?
He's using hotkeys, and it looks so chill, if it works what screen resolution works the best?
