Need some help with transferring a name in reference to this guide.

My name already got sniped once when I tried to transfer it, but I was able to recover it.

Should I be waiting a week or so before I try again?

With the website method, how quickly can I take the name on my main account?
As quick as I can after I release? Or should I wait half a second.

When you change the name for the first time on the name holder.
You should really be transferring asap so that no one takes too much notice of the name change yeah?

Only transfer a name straight afterwards if you are 100% certain it will be safe otherwise i would advise waiting at least a day or two before you do it.

Also make sure that the time you choose to transfer is a time when most people would be asleep across the world, for example; look at the world clock and select the most common countries and look at their times etc etc.

Apart from that, it is entirely at your own risk so make sure you read the guide through again for any other pointers that may be noted.

Just quickly, if you've done a transferral yourself

I just don't want to do it too quickly and waste time (as the guide says).
B/c I'd imagine there'd be delay between you and the server!

 

I suppose it's entirely up to you when you do it again. (If you're skeptical wait a few days, can't hurt) Would advise doing early hours EST (4-6AM EST) also follow the guide & be quick.

 

Most of the time you are safe, just make sure you either have two computers/laptops or at least two browsers, if someone has sniped it before then I would suggest waiting a few days before trying again as most likely they will be looking to do it again, it's all down to perfect timing.. there is never normally a delay from what I have gathered when transferring, I simply just open the second browser after changing on the alt account and then do it that way (normally about 3/4 seconds the name)

 

Honestly your best bet is to transfer a name straight after an update. do the changes fast as you can so people do not see the name being changed.
