Some of you may know the album has been leaked ahead of it's September 4 release date. We aren't going to be sharing links to a leak or anything since that's prohibited.

In terms of an album I really like what I'm hearing from Travis, it's easily his best and most complete project to date. Little disappointed that Antidote made it to the tracklist because initially Travis said it wouldn't be on the album (I was looking forward to a new song instead of Antidote). Asides from 3500 & Antidote which were released beforehand I'd have to say night crawler is my favorite.

What do you guys think of the album?

There's plenty of others slated for September that look promising too. Jay Rock, Fetty Wap and The Game are amongst the releases I'm looking forward to.

Perhaps it's because I'd already played Antidote and 3500 a lot beforehand but Rodeo is already getting a bit stale for me now. Unfortunate.

it was fucking dissapointment , had a few bangers on it like all travis scott tapes.. but the rest were just a bunch of beats that he grabbed up and just laid down some words on and called it a track... very yung thug of him to do...

Half the time I love it and half the time I hate it lol

The major criticisms of the album seem to be the lack of deep vocals but it's Travis Scott, you aren't there for the lyricism but rather the overall sound.

FYI: Apparently the leak and the mastered version have differences

The album production is piss poor. The beats on a lot of songs are obnoxious as fuck. Nightcrawler is a perfect example. A lot of adlibs, no forethought, no replay value. It's a shame.

Intriguing. You seem to be in the minority with that opinion as the common consensus is that the album's production is terrific. Nightcrawler/Night Call seems to be a favorite of many too.

The autotune and beat, with the continuous transitions, don't go well together. It sounds like two waves clashing against each other. A lot of songs have a similar sound, beat wise. Many songs have a waterdown feel where the vocals are being overtaken by the beat, and you completely forget what they're saying. The lyrics don't help that cause.

A lot of people said the production for Yeezus was amazing... >.>

Nowadays it seems like people don't review the album for what it is without disregarding whose behind it. It's like an arbitrary compensation just because the artist is who they are. It's like that with theneedledrop and Kanye West. I'm a big Kanye fan, but Yeezus was pretty terrible.

But at the end of the day it's #opinions eh
