Most hated athletes?

Who do you think is the most hated athlete in all of sports? This should be interesting.

 

Hmmm... I'd say Floyd Mayweather.

 

When it comes to hockey, there are a few.... Corey Perry, Drew Doughty, Milan Lucic.. Guys with no respect.

 

Floyd Mayweather for sure. Depends on the time really. At some point maybe Lance Armstrong? As for the others, there are some polarizing figurines but not hated as much as these guys

The way it usually works is an athlete is revered by a certain group of people while despised by another. For example, LeBron James was admired down here in Miami while he played for us and his jerseys were being burned in Cleveland. Now the opposite is true. The same is true for an unbelievable amount of soccer players. I can't really think of an athlete who is just "hated" by everyone. You wouldn't hear of their name for long if they really were.

The single name that comes to mind is Ron Artest AKA Metta World Peace. Just Youtube some videos of him. He used to be booed by home fans.

 

Mike Tyson might be considering what was claimed to be done.

I came into this thread thinking LeBron James, however I do agree with the majority when saying Floyd Mayweather is one of the most infamous athletes.

 

Don't know why many people be hatin on lebron though in irl. hes pretty good and he can drive in succesfully. By no doubt that Mayweather is a cocky and shows off his mula to much so I would say him. But I be hatin when people hate lebron. I respect him.
