By now, its already close to its original price, and will probably be there soonish.

I wish I spotted bitcoin @163-180$. With the last crash, I figured I'd invest 5k in it if I saw it at -175$. Too bad I missed it :p
Though, I don't have funds in bitfinex, so I could not have made an (very high yielding) investment in it considering the low point only lasted for seconds / minutes

I did have a nice profit messing with coinbase bot traders.

Apparently, some still had API's outbidding eachother between 225-250 euro, while you could buy on the normal coinbase page @ 211 euro.

Bought 1.8k eur of btc total (2 btc everytime, sell, xfer back to main coinbase, repeat)

    Sales:

Didnt realise the final 1btc didnt sell, hence the later trade on that one. Total profit: 152 euro, riskfree 5 minute flip (as I could make pending insta-sell offers on another exchange at a breakeven price considering what I paid @ coinbase).

Yup, I wouldn't recommend holding continuous bitcoin reserves, but buying it whenever you need some instead, unless its specifically for an investment purpose when you believe the price is low. Even then, never risk what you're not willing to lose.

BTC won't go down too much as the difficulty raises and becomes more publicized.

Avoid getting out too early as it has more long term potential compared to any other type of investment security.

This specific crash is because BitcoinXT. If it got the majority vote it'd be a hardfork that would increase the block size.
