What skill would you want besides sailing?

If you had to choose a different skill to replace sailing, what would it be?

 

I would like to see Summoning, but maybe with some different summons instead of BoBs or whatever else was OP.

 

Dungeoneering, this would bring variety of new pures into the game

 

Disagree. So many dupes and glitches came with dungeoneering >.<

 

Sailing will fill the same niche that dungeoneering did... I think...

 

Bring Sailing into RS3, not OSRS. I think they are about to make the same mistakes they made with RS3 and just pour out new, stupid content every week.

Before you know it, next update will be the god damn Squeal of Fortune.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing summoning on osrs, as long as they balanced it out and made it work well with osrs.

 

I would like to put my NO on this. Have you seen what dungeoneering did to RS3? When dungeoneering first came out, I would safely say quite a fair amount of players did leave the game, because it ruined lots of pures having getting 2 defence accidentally from a share exp and no one knew what it did and skillers being ruined from gaining large amounts of combat exp through share exp and so on. I know nobody's that dumb now but dungeoneering on OSRS isn't going to bring new players to the game.

Jagex already specifically mentioned that they want to divert OSRS from the RS3 game plan path, and they will come up with new things they don't have for RS3. It's pretty fair considering that the previous game plan for RS3 didn't go so well and RS3 is a mess now. Only thing you can do in RS3 is probably merching and that's pretty much it.

Personally I would prefer Sailing, the dev blog sounds very promising and I'm interested to see what new things they can offer, that might deliberately change skilling methods (such as faster ways to 99, faster exp for different skills etc) or even change the PVP meta through the introduction of new items. Or they might even change how much resources are used when bossing (such as currently you need around 10k sweets to do firecape on a 1 pray pure and so on)

 

Yeah . Lots more exciting to make new content then adding old stuff (except for dclaws )

of course dungeoneering i want to host again lol i miss my 200m dungeoneering xp account :S
