First thread layout attempt.

My first attempt at a thread layout.

The actual layout has a slightly different header, though.

I like the glow & overall edges/background/layout itself.

I am not a fan of the "RSGOLDTIME" text, I don't think it flows with the rest of the thread layout (the font itself & the overall boldness feel of said text).

Also, the payment methods seem a little dull. While it's sleek, there seems to be a lot of white space. Maybe lighten it up with the company colors/logos, or merge them into the thread layout so they aren't completely separate white boxes.

Overall I think it's great and it's definitely an awesome first layout.

 

Great for a first, but a few critiques:

* As Tmoe pointed out, possibly add some effects around the payment methods. Maybe even just making the background the same color as the effects around the edge.
* Under each of the subheaders, there is just a flat line from the glow color to the content under it. You may want to try and make that gradient, it looks a little cheesy imo.

 

Colors fit out pefectly , good job.

 

Great for a first attempt, I would say that the "rsgoldtime" title should be a little fancier, it looks as though you found a sample font and just typed rsgoldtime then changed the colour slightly. As dunworry said the payment methods should be changed with more colour. I apologise if my critique is slightly harsh, I'm just trying to get you to be as good as possible

 

The headliner is the only problem. It stands out too much, and not in a good way. The stroke really kills it for me. It's not bad for your first time.

 

I actually really like it. It's not too complex which is a problem that I find destroys thread layouts as, to me at least, they have to be easy to read.

The only gripe for me would be the massive white stroke around the border. Maybe make it glow like the rest of the edge or change the stroke to something thinner and a bit more subtle.

There are also some strange jagged edges towards the bottom of the stroke on the edge of the background which don't look purposeful.

Other than that, though - I like it a lot. That's from a minimalistic designer, though. I know a lot of people like super-ultra-mega effects.

 

I like it. Simple and professional. Extremely good for a first attempt.

 

The dark theme is looking great. Only thing i don't like is the Rsgoldtime style + colour.
