are aeron chairs worth the money?

I been having back problems lately from being hunched over in front of my display all day but I don't know if I can justify spending that much money on a chair. Has anyone actually used one? Am I a fool for considering paying msrp for something that most of corporate probably doesn't even pay for?

 

Well if you stay infront of your screen all day then i'd say it is worth it, but that's just my opinion.

 

Never heard of that brand, heard of dxracer tho and all positive reviews bout the dxracer, steep price though. Try do stretches maybe every now and then , free alternative to a more healthy body.

 

Buy a back support pillow.

 

I think you'll find cheaper options too if you keep searching

 

A good chair is worth the investment undoubtedly. If you're sitting for more than 6 hours a day its probably a good investment both for health, looks, and comfort.

It really just comes down to your income. Is it a big investment for you? Or is it just disposable cash that you would spend on something else? If it doesn't put you out with it, I'd go with it.

It'll probably last for years too.

you can get a good office desk chair for around 200 bucks, i suffered from back pains as well and just went to the furniture store and looked around and found one that was perfect.

 

Maybe the problem isn't the chair but how you are sitting. Why are you hunching over?

 

Most office chairs are rated for 6 hours of sitting a day any any more could be damaging your back. Even if you're sitting in them as intended.

 

If you're at the computer a lot, then it's definitely worth it. It's either you fork over a few grand now for a proper 100% ergonomic set-up, or you pay quite a bit more for medical bills in the future when you're suffering from severe pain that keeps you from doing your work and collecting paychecks.

Also... Get up and stretch every so often and make sure you keep good posture.
