They've all rose/risen/rise, over a 3year period from what I'm aware of, so if your in it for the long run, keep them.

 

Just keep your P hats they will keep on going up as their will constantly be less leaving the game and none going into Runescape, yhen sell the gp

 

Never hurts to have more money in real life, Also selling it now, you would not have to worry about the gold prices crashing. but goodluck with whatever it is you end up doing.

 

they're due for a crash in the near future, as they always due in mid august once everyone starts heading back to school.

As more gp is added into the game, it is more common and easier to earn/goldfarm to the price plumets into the ground...the price of gp will always drop...it drops easier then it rising...

 

I would sell that for irl money and go on a shopping spree..2,000 would be pretty nice right now

To everyone saying that he should just hold out through the peaks & drops as phats will always rise eventually, well, this is true but it isn't really optimizing his profit is it. He could fairly easily sell them when they've peaked then re-invest when they crash & repeat.
