is vaping a lot more healthier compared to combustion? would love all the info I can get on this

 

Cigarette smoke has thousands of chemicals, dozens of known carcinogens, and tar.

E-Liquid has only a few ingredients. Propylene glycol, Vegetable glycerin, flavoring, and nicotine. PG/VG are generally regarded as safe to inhale and are used in medical inhalers/fog machines. The flavoring you can get organic, although there aren't a ton of studies on how your body will react to it long-term. Nicotine, while an addictive stimulant is relatively safe with similar physiological effects to caffeine.

 

on of the big problems I had with combustion was it damaged my teeth. will that not be a problem with vapor?

 

is there such thing as second hand vapor? my roommate vapes in the living room and his room in our apartment, and wanted to know more about the effects of secondhand vaping and if it's harmful. don't want to be inhaling carcinogens and nicotine that could damage my health. one of the effects of nicotine that i'm afraid of is that is apparently damages the brain: https://tobacco.ucsf.edu/nicotine-not-caffeine

There isn't significant data on the subject, but I haven't heard of anyone experiencing yellowing and it doesn't cause bad breath.

There are conflicting studies on that.

I remember one in particular which had the person blowing clouds directly in a persons face for a whole vape session. After some tests they didn't find the subject had any more nicotine in their system than a non-smoker/vaper. This was repeated multiple times with the same result.

First off, nicotine isn't a carcinogen.

Although that looks to be a biased source, let me break that down point by point.

1) Toxicity in high doses means absolutely nothing, water is lethal in high doses.

2) 'May' increase risk of a disease? So could getting poor sleep, eating a big mac, working an office job compared to a manual job, etc. That's an essentially meaningless claim.

3/4) There are plenty of relatively safe things that aren't recommended of pregnant or nursing women. Including drinking caffeine.

5) The evidence is inadequate to infer the presence or absence of a causal relationship between exposure to nicotine and risk for cancer.

The best thing to be breathing is fresh air, but vaping is definitely a way safer alternative to smoking.

So yesterday my Sigelei took a dip in some water. Completely submerged. I ripped it out of the water, opened it up, pulled out the batteries, and proceeded to inspect it.

The battery compartment was bone dry. Shook it out, let it sit for like 30 minutes, then threw some fresh batteries in it... And it works like a charm still. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Sigelei

I was on a road trip recently, and saw a Vaping shop INSIDE Walmart. Where I live, there are no shops around.

Are the vapes at gas stations and so, the same items you get in a Vape Shop?

I don't plan on vaping, just curious.

 

Sup niggers, my military serviceice starts next Tuesday. I will be joining the 20th division of the Korean army, a very technology friendly division that is the first to get the latest tech and machineries in our country.

This means that I will be allowed to vape (after boot camp)
Can you guys recommend me any tfa/tpa and flavourart recipes that take months to steep? Preferably ones with the least amount of ingredients, all my recipes are 3 flavor minimum.

I need something to please my mouth while I fire at kimjonguns; I will each other be driving or firing a tank

 

Its usually some dessert flavors that take a long time to steep.

I'm afraid I don't have any recommendations though. I've never had more than about 5 flavors and my mixes are usually 1 flavor and sometimes 2 max if I know they'll go well together.

 

Considering upgrading from a mechanical mod to a box. Looking at the Sigelei 150W or 150W TC.

I only use kanthal at the moment so 150w is overkill. I haven't had a lot of luck finding information about vaping at higher wattages. What's the most wattage for a sub ohm (usually .3-.6) kanthal build? Would I have to have some /r/coilporn type art piece of ni/ti wire to go high wattage?

 

You don't necessarily need a crazy build to take advantage of the higher wattages. I did a simple 0.2 ohm dual coil parallel build and you could easily hit it at 100 watts for a warmer vape. Don't let the higher wattage box mods intimidate you, its just there if you want it.

What I'm using right now is the SnowWolf 200W. Has a nice design, removable battery cover, temp control, etc. Its only $100-130 and what I've been recommending to people who want to take a step up into nicer box mods.

But the Sigelei should be good as well, I'd recommend the TC version. Even if you aren't going to be building TC coils you can still play around with pre-built TC coils in a sub-ohm tank or something.

 

I love my sigelei, I personally dont like the TC version.

the reason you get a variable wattage is so that you do not have to be so strict on your build

I find myself that the perfect kanthal vape is a 10 wrap 24g kanthal wrapped around a 3mm. Comes out to a .4ohm at 90.1 watts it is at 6.8v, perfect vape.
Not super high wattage, almost maxed voltage. Very nice.

For comps i use mechs.
For everyday, it is usually the Snow, Sig, or my unreg 3f boxmod.

Nice, that will ultimately be my next buy if/when my Sigelei needs an upgrade.

 

I'm currently vaping with Istick 50w and i have delta II and infinite plume veil

Delta 2 rocks at 40 watts

I got 0.3 dual coils setup on my plume veil and can say it gives some nice clouds :3
