Just because we provide macros and a black market doesn't mean we are breaking any legal laws. It's no different that scamming in game. Say if you scam in game and get banned the FBI isn't going to go to your house and take you away.

Aaand. Private servers. They pretty much can't do shit about this because we do not host any of the actual files, just provide the links, posting abilities, etc.

The only way sythe could go down really was if they found out we were hosting scarscape, which actually edits the game which IS against the law.

    Foreign hosting fixes that problem.

For those who think that anything that breaks jagex's rules are illegal, that would be like saying that if you disobeyed your parents/guardian about cleaning your room, then the police would arrest you. Won't happen. Just because you break their game rules doesn't jack shit in the real world. If you have yet to grasp this concept than you should probably take a class in law at your high school or if your in middle school look on the internet for laws that pertain to you as its better to be informed so you can properly defend yourself against any charges that may be mounted against you.

Are some of you people stupid or just thick-headed? You don't give Jagex the credit they deserve, and I can assure you, we aren't anywhere near as untouchable as you think this site is.

Would it be hard to take it down? Yes, probably the biggest site left standing, it's no easy feat, but with the proper information, it can go a lot swifter and faster than you think.

First off, it's called copyright infringement, they get most sites on it. And I can assure you a few things here are quite infringing on their copyright. Private servers, and for Daily, still wrong, sorry mate. Let's take a warez site for example, they don't need to be hosting anything to get taken down, giving it out or giving access to a place where you can get it is enough to get it pinned on you.

Secondly, for the idiot who said because we have a UK block, if they were to use a proxy they couldn't gather information they gathered. WRONG! Learn a little about law then start preaching. Using a proxy is no where near illegal, if Sythe actually had a disclaimer on this site that you had to accept everytime to visit, saying something along the lines of, "If you are, have, or are in anyway connected to Jagex Ltd. and/or any third-party business with them, you MAY NOT ENTER." That way, if they violated that, THEN, anything they gathered couldn't be used.

Another thing, I believe you have to have a copyright in order for that disclaimer to even have any power, and Sythe.org is not copyrighted, if you'd like to pay the few hundred dollars to get one, I believe that's around how much, the be my guest.

Last but not least, will everyone stop acting like immature fools. OH, LET'S SPAM THE FORUMS, HAH WE'LL GET THEM. No, it only shows how stupid you really are and actually gives some forum and Jagex mods something to do, because they don't have as interesting job as you think.

Hey, dorito. Those disclaimers were proven not to work.

Many people were using that to sell bootlegs like: "If you are affiliated, or were affiliated, or are directly or indirectly related with some company, you cannot enter" or whatever. It doesn't work like that.

That 'internet privacy act signed by bill clinton' never actually happened. It's all fake. The company can do whatever they want, some silly disclaimer can't stop anything, especially when it's not backed up by anything.

It's been proven. It's not your right, it's not your privelage, you have no right to block out any company just because of some silly disclaimer that never existed, or should exist. You can, however, block them for spamming, or breaking your rules on the site.

I could just set up a warez site and put up this disclaimer:
"If you are in any way, indirectly or directly related by any form of anti piracy, or affiliated with any form of company, you are not allowed to enter because the stupid bill never signed says so."
and I'd be safe from the fbi, and any companies who's work I would be pirating.

But no. It doesn't work like that.

    Have a nice day.

fuck jagex, they're not going to do anything, even if they could. think about it, jagex already has thousands of members bitching them about how fuckin crappy their game is... and just read the whole thread, daily and stoopid had some good points. AND you could just think about sythe, he's a cool guy and is very intelligent, whether you like him or not, i assume he knows what he's doing. and they would be losing alot of money by getting rid of us, like whoever said it earlier.

and i don't care about the runescape part of sythe anymore, i quit that fag game a long time ago, i just like it at sythe, it's pretty fun :)
