If they succeed they get our IPs. Then were really fucked. But I believe our Administrators will do something to save us and stop them.

 

QFT. Only way they can view it is going around the UK block, and if they do they can't do anything to us. Also, we don't have anything against the law, Jagex Rules =/= National rules. Just because they say "Macroing is against the rules" doesn't mean we can't macro.

 

Jagex has tried to sue Sythe once I think, and they have tried to take it down several times with threats. We are still here aren't we? Nothing to be worried about....

 

Jagex gets so much from cheaters. They get to brag about banning people so that they look like they try hard when it comes to cheating(when they obviously don't), they get to ban people with millions of gp which is easier than making a new skill like construction just to take away gp, they just get a win win.

It's all just to scare us. They aren't allowed to come to this site anyways, so no matter what they try to do they are also breaking the sythe.org rules by comming here so they are just as much in trouble as we are.

 

Well, fagex is down, who knows hopefully they'll take sythe down.

 

On the matter of Jagex employees coming on here - Isnt the a disclaimer saying they can't? So if they came on nothing they look at can be used as evidence right?

Their rules are game rules. Not life rules. We will do what we please. Its not necessarly "wrong". Its a game.

It's illegal for them to do that. And, it's also this site is illegal but, we have more witnesses here

 

Actually this is a pretty loose threat.
They won't pursue closing down sites like this to the extent needed to succeed.
It would cost them TONS more than they are likely to be willing to spend, just to sue us.

If they want to admit it or not, Jagex DOES make tons of money from illegal activity on their game.
Mills farms DO pay for that membership, memberships ARE beeing sold here.
And if they realise it or not they make tons of money from sites like this.

I doubt their willing to lose all that money, both by bringing us down, and seeing us down.
Empty threats like that are to scare us, and to discourage people from using these sites.
