    Are you a superstitious person?

Do you believe in any superstitions? From wearing clothes inside out, to daily prayer, to avoiding black cats. There are many superstitions that prompt us to act a certain way to avoid misfortune. Do you follow/believe in any?

I wouldn't call myself a superstitious person, but I do follow repetitive activities just for stimulant satisfaction.

I wouldn't say I'm a superstitious person. The only thing I do that would be considered a superstition, is flipping one cigarette upside down before opening a pack; as it's supposedly to bring good luck, and bad luck if smoked.

My friend taught me it and I just happen to do it for no reason, too.

Only to a certain extent I would consider myself superstitious. I will follow some things like not opening an umbrella indoors and not walking under a ladder!

    Are you a superstitious person?

No, how I see it, superstitions are just thoughts that are believed and perpetuated by the mind. Whether they are good superstitions or bad ones.

I like things done the way I like and sometimes that's things that might be repeated so I guess you could say that :p

I tend to get rather annoyed when anyone tells their ghost stories.

    Are you a superstitious person?

    Depends, religious stance, ofc.

Walking under a ladder, I tried it once, can fairly say bad shit does happen to you. E.G. decided to walk under a ladder, 2mins later bird pooped on my head. Isn't bird pooping on you another superstition, I don't think I had a bad day after that, except for the fact that I was late for Uni, and had to go back home wash hair and re-straighten... Nvm.

Opening an umbrella inside, nothing happens to me, not that im aware of... therefore I don't believe it.

I believe in ghosts, and bad creatures or what ever they're called forgotten the name of them, witnessed it myself, has happened to myself. This victorian girl ghost who lives in our house, tried killing me when I was asleep, (suffocating) in my nightmare, but felt realistic, woke up instantly on the floor.

I can't think of any others off the top of my head, because I'm bad at remembering names..the outcome I remember.

7 my favo numb. Lol. Makes me believe good things are coming :) @picture below

    Are you a superstitious person?

Not anymore in the slightest, no.

However, when I was younger, I used to be a bit. Whenever I'd spin around, I'd have to "unspin" myself. Basically, if I turned 2 full rotations to the left, I'd have to turn 2 full rotations to the right to "undo" myself.
Another one was that whenever I had a hexagonal or octagonal bottom to a glass of water or other liquid, I'd have to position it so that one of the points was on the edge of the table, and that the angles made from the tables edge, the point, and both edges of the glass would have to be equal.

No and never will , in fact , i try challenge superstition and prove to people that it is nothing other than you subconsciously believing in something just because that something has been hammered into your head at a young age hundreds of times.

I've taken to the habit of knocking on wood, my head serves as a substitute in a pinch.

I'm not really particularly superstitious though, I guess at this point its just a weird habit.

I do this too haha, as well as not being superstitious what-so-ever.

Your fortune/misfortune is made by choices and effort.

Exactly this but I've realised it's not even worth challenging other people as no one ever changes their opinion.

    Are you a superstitious person?

I don't prefer superstition, it scares me to the living dead.

It appears most people do it as a pastime nowadays though so just ponder an area you enjoy and get going!

    Are you a superstitious person?

Personally I am not superstitious, mainly because I'm a very thoughtful and easily distracted person, so if I find a black cat I don't avoid it because I'm usually thinking in other stuff other than the cat itself lol

    Are you a superstitious person?

I'm only superstitious when I play games that involve chance. If you walk up next to me and I start losing, you're bad luck.

    Are you a superstitious person?

Yup, that's me also- thought I was alone on this stance..

Now, I was doing some research when I stumbled upon this:
"People with OCD often have compulsions to do rituals over and over again, often interfering with everyday life."

My question is, can being superstitious lead you to be OCD?
