Magic at dual arena

Ive got a 65 cb pure with 94 mage. Does anyone at dual arena dual with magic only and what would be the best method to use? Ice barrage or god spells

I would go for the ancient spell book. I believe the best is ice barrage/blood spells.

 

Mage dueling is not that common anymore - the vast majority of duels involve whip/dds. This is due to both possible server instability (get ddosed in a mage duel = rip as it's not automated, while you might still have a chance with a whip with auto retaliate on) and the fact that it's a lot more click-intensive and lasts longer (as opposed to using whip/dds, which is over in a few seconds).

If you do choose to mage box, the spell you mainly use is blood barrage because it heals you, with the occasional shadow barrage (high accuracy) or smoke barrage (chance to poison, better in long fights) and blitz spells to KO due to their higher accuracy than barrage spells.

 

I actually preferred to throw in some blood blitz along with the barrage as it also yields better accuracy while still giving you those healing effects.

OP, get 99 mage though, or do some thorough skill checks before entering each stake.

 

This, remember higher magic level gives higher magic resistance, so you'll be more likely to win.

Order ;Shadow barrage (lowers accuracy by 10%) -> Smoke barrage (poisons for 4 hp) -> blood barrage.

Tips: DO NOT AUTOCAST. Click the spells physically as it increases speed slightly and will prevent you from missing hits in-case you forget to autocast as duel begins.

 

The days of mage boxing are over to be honest. It's a shame though because they're really fun and there's more tactics than any other method of staking.

 

Yeah I usually have to wait awhile before i can find a legit dual.
