Starting up a botfarm - Advice?

When I get back from vacation I intend to invest the $300 worth of RSGP that o have into making a bot farm. I have a few questions..

•I wanted to use Simba but it is impossible to use a proxy with the client. Are there any farmers who use Simba and can offer alternative solutions to this?

•What clients would be best supporting a mass farm (40+ accounts)? I would be using a private script and would need to incorporate trading a mule into the scripts

•Are there bulk deals for VPN's / VPS space? Where should I go for this?

I don't mean to toot my own horn here but InuBot has the lowest resource usage as far as I am aware and definately has a lower ban rate than osbot, tribot, topbot etc

TopBot is very good for goldfarming. We have batch support so you can start 40 bots with a single double click. The API has IRC methods and scripters can use them to communicate between the mule and workers to make muling super easy.

If you are looking for Lower ban rates, I would use Tribot.

I wouldn't use topbot if I was your. they just don't have many working bots at all and the ones they do have are just not worth it. IV bought a few from them and they all sucked. Id use tribot or osbot if I was you. Also it shouldn't take 300m to start a farm. Im doing a member only thing on my bots so had to buy all member ships and didn't cost me near that number.

What he said. Tribot is the way to go, just make sure the script you buy is reliable and being updated constantly.

Also to echo Wafer, 300m is not necessary to start up a farm.

If you are planning on getting a VPS/proxies etc., It should cost you $100 max to start a small farm, then you can build off of that. :)

Yeah I got some advice for you, unless you can hire about 10 3rd world natives to work for 10 cents an hour running 5-10 accounts each don't do it.

It's not worth it with gold prices so low, only because ban rates are so high. Would be worth it if ban rates weren't so bad, but Weath has made it his life mission to ban bots.

a lot of people think not using a vps leads to chain bans and that after you get chain banned your ip is flagged and watched more. Personally I haven't noticed a big difference but then again I just run a farm of about 6 bots.

It's mainly preference I guess, especially when only running a small bot farm. If you're comfortable with leaving your computer on 24/7 then you could just run the farm off of there, but the specs of your computer have to be able to handle it. With a VPS, you are basically paying to rent another computer so that you don't have to have yours on all the time.

sorry im new to this whole VPS thing, so u said that i am basically renting another computer so i dont have to run mines? what do you mean by that ?? i can turn off my computer while the bot runs or something?

also is the IP connected to the computer it self or the ISP? cant the IP always be changed on a computer.

Yes. Your computer doesn't have to be on. You simply use it to connect to the vps and start things. The vps should always be on.

Basically when you buy a VPS, you are buying a computer some where in the world that is running 24/7. This allows you to be able to turn off your own computer while the bots are still running on the VPS. VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. It is ran on a completely different IP than your own. You are able to access your VPS on any computer, because once you order it, it will come with an IP/Port and password. You then can connect to it through something called Remote Desktop I think is what it's called. The VPS I use is just accessed through the website, making it much easier. :)

My advice to you would be to not get discouraged by failing. You are most likely will not succeed immediately. It can be a prolonged trial and error process, you have to stick with it in order to finally achieve something :)

    Good Luck
