best and worst state in US

My nigga. For real, if you're down this way let me know.

I've been all over aside from Cali and up north, my two favorites are Texas and New Mexico so far. Texas is a VERY diverse place, it has its flatlands, hill country, rivers, deserts Ect Ect. Let alone the cities are very diverse, we have a large section of hill country that pretty much belongs to the Germans and Czechs they still practice a lot of old world food and alcohol techniques. One of the best Oktoberfests stateside hands down. Dallas is a hell of a city in its own right with lots of diversity great music scene in the famous deep ellum, lits if great craft food and beer places, Ft Worth is classic TX.. big assed rodeos and honkeytonks they still call it cow town ffs. Austin is strait up nuts, Austin feels like a different state and maybe country. Austin has always been a mecca for music, you can go see a country band, a rock show, a rave, famous rappers Ect Ect ALL on the same street on the same night. Austins building a reputation as THE us festival destination.

Don't know a whole lot about New Mexico aside from the fact that its fucking beautiful.

Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma are probably my least favorites I've spent time in. Very boring and surprisingly stereotypical BFE backwoods redneck types.

 

IN MY EXPERIENCE. All the east states suck. All the far west states are cool. That's mostly because I connect with the people in the west much better.

That's not to say there aren't cool things to see and do in the east, but overall west is much better.

I find the west has much more "natural fun" things to do. Hiking and the like.

For reference I've lived in 10+ states and have been to 40+.

 

Best: New York

A lot of things to do here, great market, and the energy really leaves you in awe sometimes. The only bad thing about NY is the people. The attitudes here are absolute shit.

Worst: Florida

The laws are shit, the people are shit, worst drivers in the country, an overall unpleasant feeling.
