Potential Idea: Adding One Cape to Max Cape in OSRS Content Poll 35

As players continue to enjoy slayer with expectation of?new Cerberus boots, Jagex is planning to bring more features to Old School Runecape in the upcoming content poll, featuring new design of max cape, converting function of Zulrah items, loot interface of Barrows and more. Read on for details and look at the potential idea to make max cape more valuable.



OSRS’s schedule for content poll #35 on this Thursday



1. Max cape: With the same stats as a trimmed skill cape, this max cape has an impressive emote and is designed for players with level 99 in all skills (2277 total level) at the price of 2,277,000 rune coins.



2. Zulrah items: In order to decline Zulrah drops and increase the number of scales to make a balance, a chisel is supposed be used to convert drops of Zulrah into the consumable scales. The original rate of item converting is planned as below:

Serpentine visage/serpentine helm (10,000 scales)

Magic fang (10,000 scales)

Tanzanite fang/toxic blowpipe (50,000 scales)

3. Barrows features: Three features are supposed to be added for Barrows. The first one is a loot interface that can show what exactly loots players can gain from the chest of Barrows. The second one is a loot broadcast, which will notice other players near the chest when someone receives Barrows equipment and elite clue scrolls from the chest. And the final one is the brother progress that show you which brother you have killed, which is helpful to decide your path for the rest of trip.

4. Fishing Trawler outfit: The outfit could be gained with a slim chance, but it will grant players a bit of fishing xp boost. The outfit is consisting of four parts and every part grants some xp increase, while the full set will provide an extra 0.5% bonus to grant a maximum of total 2.5 xp.

Trawler hat - 0.4%

Trawler top - 0.8%

Trawler legs - 0.6%

Trawler boots - 0.2%.


Potential idea: Add cape to Max Cape to make it more valuable

Since the Max cape is designed to have the same stats as skill cape, many players think it is pointless, especially when we consider the cost that need to pay. Regardless of a great amount of?07 rs gold?spending for leveling up, it will cost 2,277,000 rune coins and about 2400 hours to gain. Basically, the skill capes and fire cape do a fine job of showing off one's achievements. Thus, unless max cape is made with higher stats, it will be almost useless to use anywhere but only bank standing. Considering that, some players suggest buffing the stats of the max cape to make it more valuable, or allowing to add capes to enhance it. For example, give the max cape the ability to add 1 cape to it at a time, so that it can match current best in slot items.
