Streamers "Hacked"

JoshOG, summit, GoldGlove, Tucker, Sonja, Jericho, reckful, Sodapoppin, olofmeister have all been hacked on steam.

Apparently it's due to a steam exploit that needs to be fixed. The accounts aren't actually being hacked.

OT: My friend told me about this, apparently some phishing links were passed around?

There was a "fwitch.tv" link that was passed around recently as well that a few friends got hit with.

Also, I still have an inventory worth $1k+, so I could have easily been a potential target as a streamer.

But damn, I mean wouldn't you think that's a little noticeable? I mean it's the internet, but I guess people fall for phishing links :\ sad to see.

 

I saw the video on it.. It was so easy to do it they could have profited so much if they didn't target high profile people.

Thankfully I dodged this. I heard some huge inventories got hacked. But from what I understand they didn't manage to steal anything.

 

It was really easy to do.

 

Sad thing is.... One of my buddies who is a twitch employee fell for it....
