    Paypal dispute. Please help

    Hello, so I sold an virtual account about 10-15 days ago and now a buyer filed a dispute. O got this message from Paypal this morning "The buyer has filed a claim stating this transaction was made without the account holder's knowledge or consent of transacted in error". The fact is, that he sent the money for friends and family. What should I respond to Paypal ?
    By the way, I see that in the case is written "Unauthorized Claim" so is it possible that Paypal will close this case without my explanation ?

    Your options are close to 0. Because the payment was sent as a gift, any protection you would have with using the "goods" payment option is out the window. If they're able to prove that the payment was indeed unauthorized (which can be easily portrayed with the use of a vpn) you're going to lose the case. You can call paypal and tell them that you mistakenly sent the payment as a gift and would like to switch it to goods (you will probably be charged with a fee) so that you can give any evidence you have to show that goods were bought.

    You can try, although I don't think it will be effective. This is a common scam on paypal. In the future you should only trade with verified paypal accounts.

    I see only three options when I select solve the claim/
    I have shipped the item and I can provide proof that the item was shipped through an approved shipper to the address on the Transaction Details page.
    I have not shipped the item and I will refund the payment.
    I have refunded the payment for this transaction.

    Omg, it seems I have no changes to win this dispute.

    What if I would choose the second? Will I lost my money immediately ?
    If I choose the third, then Paypal will ask for details ?

    Yes. Sadly most of the time MYSELF i have lost all these cases even though i provided some proof and he just said "not true" etc...

    With it being a personal payment unless you have proof of posting an item to the address on the other person's account and have a valid tracking number, you can guarantee that the case will be found against you.
