Feedback on signatures

Hey,

I found these signatures that I have made a few months ago and as someone who is constantly trying to improve on his photoshop skills, I would like some CnC on these pieces of work. Thanks.

 

I'd say that they aren't too bad. The centre one looks the best out of them in my opinion. You need to work on the composition of the other two a little more as the renders look a little lost. I would also look up some tutorials on basic smudging to give the renders a little more connection with the background. Also, the colour scheme should be matching a little more fluidly.

Top: 4/10
Central: 6/10
Bottom: 5/10

 

Nice work but I kinda agree with GodPoker... Maybe a 7/10 for central

 

When you say that the renders look a little lost, do you mean that its placement in the signature is a little weird?

 

No, the placement is okay. It's just that it looks like it's been plonked onto the background without any sort of connection to it. Easiest thing is to try a gradient map or to wrap a c4d around the render from the background.

Try a cleaner approach. They look sloppy to me.

 

What do you mean by a cleaner approach? Do you mean I should clean up the edges of the render more or...?

I like the top one the best but you definitely work on rendering. Not bad at all though Keep trying

 

These a pretty nice. I'm sure over time you will get better. The last one is my personal favorite.
