Make it a requirement of 1 year+ on Sythe before you can dice

In the past couple of days at least two 2015 members have been banned who were active in the Donor dicing area. Can we get a rule that prohibits people from dicing unless they have 6-12 months under their belt on Sythe.

Even if they're banned for an unrelated issue, it's still a relevant concern. A lot of people (myself included) refuse to allow 2015 members to gamble against us.

 

Make it your own requirement on your post. Problem solved. ^_^

Maksyrs was something unrelated, and admirer owes myself and Junk money from dicing so he's banned until he pays. (I am quite confident that he will, today)

 

No one is forcing you to dice against them. Refusing to gamble against them, like you said, will solve the problem entirely.

 

The only problem I see with your suggestion is that a large amount of sythe users (including the previous two posters) have only recently joined. For dice hosts a requirement like this will:
- strongly impact the profit made by dice hosts
- create more suspicion than there already is

Unless you can offer an alternative I highly doubt that the staff will consider your suggestion.

Note that I don't have any experience with dicing on sythe or experience with sythe in general. This is just my take on things.

EDIT: Also, look at my Join Date. September 2013. I've been a sythe newcomer for the last two years. What makes me as a member or as a person more trustworthy than those that joined in the last few months? If a requirement were added, it should be activity related or with some kind of non-manipulatable reputation system.

 

No support. Thats almost like saying if you joined in 2015 you can't use the market because you may scam.

 

I don't think this is 100% fair. Yes, newer users tend to scam more, but theres also a lot of new members that are on sythe to do legit trades and have fun gambling. I don't think these members should be punished because some others are trying to scam.
I know it is a safety measure, but trust should be measured on other things such as vouches and maturity aswell.

Dicing has been nothing but trouble since its introduction. I'd rather we stop dicing altogether.

 

As Godpoker said, just put in your post that you will not accept a dice from a 2015 join date member. Problem solved. As people said, that's like saying you have to restrict people from the market because of their join date. People have to gain trust somehow, and there's a risk in everything you do online.

 

Sort of this. I'm not saying that users that have scammed because of gambling were not at fault but people that typically wouldn't scam sometimes get into trouble due to being getting carried in gambling and then recoupe losses in a manner that I don't think was their original intentions for being on Sythe.

 

Free market. Don't trust them, don't dice them. Simple really. Same as trading goes, don't trust them, don't trade them.

No one's forcing anyone to do anything.
