is it possible to still get a ban for botting when your last time you botted was 1 month+ ago?

 

Yes, that's a delayed ban.

 

Yeah they changed it so you can get banned several months after the committed offense.

 

Im curious, what is point of these delayed bans?

That players dont understand when they were caught?

 

Some theories as to why they do that.

- Long ban que
- They wait for you to buy more membership
- They're monitoring the account

Yeah, I think it can go up to 6 months... they do it so it makes it harder to pinpoint exactly what got you banned, I guess.

It's also to ensure that bot developers don't know why the accounts are getting banned

Uusually in my experience, they'll ban you within 1-2 weeks of them detecting you. Usually not over a month after, that's a tad peculiar...

Yes, it's possible. Most bans for macroing are detected right away, so I'd imagine it'd turn more unlikely as a longer period of time passes.
