How Too Detect a Fake?

hi so i have a problem in my current Relationship, in real life she has a weird Ex Bf i know its him that tries to make fake facebook accounts and kik accounts to try and get me to cheat but i do not condone cheating.

but what i am trying to get at is there any way i could find out its him? thats creating false fb accounts ?

i already google imaged the fake fb acc profile picture and theirs a crap ton of pictures, and links of that same pictures so that tells me its a fake.

is their any other way???

 

Tell him to get a skype and grab his ip i guess? or just ignore requests that you don't know

 

Why do you need to know it is him out of anything other than curiosity? I would simply inform your girlfriend and proceed to ignore it.


You can always go the route of resolving a fake Skype accounts IP and also resolve his real Skype accounts' IP. Compare the two, if they're the same, it's him.

Outside of that, a social engineering route would probably be your best bet. You could work with your girlfriend and pretend to act interested (with her knowledge). Proceed to give the individual enough information at which point he would contact your girlfriend with your "cheating." This would prove said individual was behind it.

Again, I would leave it alone. Don't bother it and it'l stop, he has nothing to gain and is simply attempting to instigate drama.

 

Agreed with the majority of that. Back when I was a bit younger my ex and I did a very similar thing just to mess with one of her exs.

But to be completely honest, it's child's play. Supposing it could be him, let him run himself out. He'll eventually become bored and move on, it's human nature. Consider it a form of trolling. Feed the trolls and they'll keep nagging you. Ignore them, and they'll move to a different person / medium of trolling.

 

Don't add people you don't know on social media. Problem solved.

 

I'd just simply ignore it. You don't really stand to benefit at all from calling him out. Maybe casually mention it to your girlfriend so she knows what's going on.

You sound like a good guy, so it's not like his plan is going to have any success.

If it was real, would you continue to talk to someone with the intention of cheating? Fake or not, if you don't condone cheating, simply behave in that manner and you won't get in trouble.

 

1.) Inform your girlfriend of the entire situation, and then tell her this plan.
2.) Add this fake "girl" on Skype.
3.) Have your girlfriend tell this guy she wants to Skype a day or two later.
4.) Grab both Skype IPs
5.) If they match, then you can confront him about it.

Just to let you know, if you meet a suspicious fb acc, you can report it for being fake and facebook will do an overview it might ensure you
