I've boosted to climb for like 2 seasons now. Get boosted a few divisions fall down climb back up. Haven't had any bans/ warnings/ repercussions. Played on a bunch of friends accounts without using a VPN or anything and nothing happened. I'd say it's pretty safe and boosting isn't really one of Riot's top priorities.

Oh I don't know about that, but from everything that I've seen it's a pretty low rate. I would assume if someone reports you or you go from bronze to diamond it'd be a lot different.

Depends a lot on how many different people have logged into the account, and the differences in region (distance of original owner). From my experience the majority of people that get banned for elo boosting are the ones who don't stick to 1 booster and have multiple different people play on their account.

    elo boosting ban rate

I got my main account banned 2 weeks ago for elo boosting because I sent in a support ticket for a completely unrelated thing, and they perma banned me since they for some reason went through my entire ip history of accounts to see that I've played 3-4 accounts this season (all mine btw - I use a vpn for boosts/friend accounts) and still banned me. I was a second offender so I knew I was going to get perma banned for next mistake... I dropped it in fear of my other accounts getting banned since one of them I play I did buy as a smurf/duo queue account. My other accounts have had nothing wrong to them though...

I don't even know though, my friend was recently perma banned on a botted account but they took it away(the perma ban) after he just bitched them out for some reason. I don't get Riot.

It comes down to the luck of the draw I suppose. Riot will sometimes check your account at random when you or someone else submits a ticket in regards to the account in question. This is like mentioned above, completely random and doesn't really serve any purpose other than being unorthodox checkups.

Rarely will riot ever search for elo boosting because the majority of the procedures are done through VPN's and can therefore not be linked to any accounts in particular. Riot may have the right to ban your account for any reason at any given time, but just because they do, it doesn't mean they will. They still follow protocol.

Aside from this, elo boosting account should otherwise be completely risk free, other than a very small percentage of punishment. I'd say the odds to being punished are 99,9 to 0,01.

Please remember that you can really only be safe if you do this with the use of a VPN.

The ban rates for elo boosting is like 0% but it really depends. If you have like 3+ people boosting on your account, then there will be different IPs logged which will make them suspicious.
